According to research by Dr. Michelle R. Weise, there is a general sense of confusion and doubt about continuing to be relevant and employable. Many people need someone to show them how to re- bound after a setback like the one we experienced with COVID and upskill through education, so their skills are both relevant and com- petitive. Dr. Weise notes, “Capturing the skills that workers add to the transferrable skills they already have offers a roadmap we can begin to replicate for other workers so that they can navigate to bet- ter jobs with higher-than-average earnings.” Since our inception in the market, Saint Kolbe University has built competency-based programs that not only give students skills that are relevant now but inspire them to continue to upskill and innovate so that they can lead the continuing global and societal evolution.
