Videoconferencing technology has made its way into business meet- ings and citizen services, but its widespread use must be done with greater safety. Attending to citizens and holding meetings remotely using video has important advantages, such as savings in travel and paper consump- tion, which results in lower costs and less environmental impact. In recent years, video has gained popularity as a way of personal attention, imitating face-to-face attention to attend citizens and organize meetings, however, only sometimes with the required as- surances and security. Video service in a corporate or government environment cannot be the same as sharing a video call with remote family or friends. When attending to citizens by videoconference, identity fraud when requesting appointments and failure to provide the necessary doc- umentation in advance leads to cancellations of meetings or the impossibility of holding them, resulting in higher costs and a poor perception of the quality of the administration’s service. In certain meetings, such as shareholders’ meetings or meetings of government leaders, and certain exchanges of messages between executives or public managers, high-impact decisions are made, and the subsequent repudiation by a participant of what was sent or de- cided can cause serious problems for the organization.
